2027 Skyliner Closure Announced
Walt Disney World is giving guests a substantial 16-month announcement of the upcoming Skyliner closure for an annual routine maintenance for 2027. The scheduled closure is to take place from January 24 – 30, 2027. These dates correspond and reflect around the same dates coming in 2026. The 2026 annual routine maintenance runs from January 25 – 31, 2026.
The convenient and popular transportation system connecting two theme parks to at least six resorts will be affected. During the arranged downtime, bus services will be offered from Riviera to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. BoardWalk and Beach Club guests will have the option of walking to both theme parks and/or using the Friendship boat service during the operational times.
Important Information
Hours of operation vary subject to water and weather conditions. Please note that no luggage or alcohol of any type is permitted on Disney watercraft. All strollers must be folded and stowed out of the aisle. Medical strollers for Guests with disabilities will be treated as wheelchairs.
