Disney confirms that Typhoon Lagoon Water Park would be reopening on January 2, 2022. That’s just in time, because on January 1, 2022, Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park will be closing for refurbishment. We have heard rumors for weeks that Disney may reopen in the coming months but there was no word from Disney till now.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon was closed in March 2020 due to the dreadful COVID-19 pandemic and has not open since though we have seen some work completed over the years on Google Earth and permits issued by the county. We are so excited to see this up and running again.
