Disney World Changing Ratatouille Ride to 2D
One of our favorite rides at EPCOT is getting a downgrade and I don’t know how I feel about it. Disney states that they are briefly closing the second popular ride in EPCOT from November 10th to the 13th to downgrade the ride from 4D or currently 3D to 2D. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will reopen with “enhanced digital visuals and clearer imagery projected in 2D.” Though new items will be coming in the next few months like new props and lighting enhancements when they are added to the queue and attraction.

Disney states:
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will experience a short downtime Nov. 10-13, 2025, and will return with enhanced digital visuals and clearer imagery projected in 2D. Remy’s fans will spot new props and lighting enhancements when they are added to the queue and attraction over the next few months.

Previously Disney has quoted to say: Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is a 4D dark ride at Epcot that immerses guests in the world of Chef Remy from Pixar’s Ratatouille, allowing them to experience the sights, sounds, and smells of Gusteau’s kitchen.
