New Savory Waffles at Disney Springs

Three new offerings will be available starting January 15 at Marketplace Snacks and we are down for it. A Disney Spring’s Marketplace Snack shop known for their decadent, photo-worthy sundaes, with ingredients like soft serve, hot fudge, fruit, and cookies stacked and served in Mickey Mouse waffle cones.  This is one of our favorite places to share a snack, that is defiantly sharable.

Disney states:

“That iconic (and delicious) waffle base will stay the same, but instead serve as a vessel for savory selections, in addition to some sweet favorites currently on the menu. Guests at Disney Springs can soon take a break from all their shopping and sightseeing to snack on three new offerings: a Hot Honey Chicken Waffle, Bacon Cheeseburger Waffle, or BBQ Brisket Mac and Cheese Waffle.”  

Hot honey has been a huge food trend recently, and I can understand the hype because it really does add that perfect punch of sweet heat to any dish. In addition to crispy fried chicken bites, this waffle will contain black pepper candied bacon, spicy pickle slaw, roasted jalapeños, garlic ranch, and chopped parsley.

If you’re craving all the components of a burger but want to try something different, the bacon cheeseburger waffle is calling your name. This creation is stacked with special blend ground beef, crispy bacon, cheddar cheese sauce, dill pickles, iceberg lettuce, diced tomato, and burger sauce.

Another creative culinary combo is the brisket mac and cheese waffle (yes, you heard that right). Inside the signature Mickey Mouse waffle cone, you can savor sweet black pepper BBQ sauce, pickled onions, chopped parsley, mac and cheese, and of course, chunks of smoky brisket.
