Walt Disney World July 2026 Park Hours & July 4 Celebrations
In July 2026, Walt Disney World’s park hours vary by day and park, with Magic Kingdom and EPCOT typically opening at 9:00 AM and closing later in the evening, while Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom close earlier.
On July 3, 2026, Magic Kingdom is open from 8 am until 11 pm. Magic Kingdom is open from 8 am until midnight on July 4, 2026, and there are also two performances of Disney Starlight Night Parade, at 10 pm and midnight.

- Magic Kingdom: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM (some days 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
- EPCOT: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (World Showcase closes at 9:00 PM)

Are you ready to take flight with Soarin’ Across America? We invite you to soar across a tapestry of landscapes showcasing the beauty and wonder of the United States, from sea to shining sea.
On this all-new experience, you can enjoy sweeping views of iconic natural wonders and vibrant cityscapes offering an inspiring tribute to the beauty and diversity of the nation.

Guests at Walt Disney World can now embark on this adventure at EPCOT and the attraction will open at Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort on July 2. Get ready for a journey filled with new sights, smells, and a new musical arrangement by composer Bruce Broughton of the iconic Soarin’ score.
Beginning July 16 for a limited time, guests in the queue for Soarin’ Across America in California Adventure at Disneyland Resort can test their knowledge of the United States with an all-new trivia challenge created in collaboration with National Geographic – The Soarin’ Challenge Across America. Scan the QR code in the queue to access the game and discover fun facts about the 50 states, and team up with your party to compete against other guests for a top spot on the digital leaderboard.
At EPCOT at Walt Disney World, travelers waiting to board Soarin’ Across America can find these trivia questions from The Soarin’ Challenge Across America displayed throughout the queue.
A Once-In-A-Lifetime Celebration at Disney Parks
Enjoy a star-spangled celebration across Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort that will bring guests together to honor America’s 250th anniversary through unforgettable experiences rooted in storytelling, tradition, and pride.

The celebration spans The Most Magical Place on Earth with the “Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky,” fireworks show at Magic Kingdom and the “Heartbeat of Freedom” fireworks grand finale immediately following “Luminous The Symphony of Us” at EPCOT.
There will also be opportunities to see patriotic lighting on Spaceship Earth, special performances from Voices of Liberty July 3-5 with exclusive echo set performances on July 4, the beloved Electrical Water Pageant, as well as themed decor along Main Street, U.S.A., character experiences, plus limited-time merchandise, food, and beverage offerings throughout the resort.

Additional activities include flag retreat ceremonies, performances by the Dapper Dans and Main Street Philharmonic, an extended run of the Portraits of Courage exhibit honoring post-9/11 veterans through Fourth of July weekend, and more.
Fans can head to Disney Springs for festive decor, plus special performances from the United States Air Force Band of the West July 3 and 4.

And Walt Disney World is honored to host an inspiring flyover by the U.S. Air Force Reserve’s 920th Rescue Wing from Patrick Space Force Base over Magic Kingdom and EPCOT beginning at 10:30 a.m. on July 4 (weather permitting).
This special event is part of Disney’s celebration of America’s 250th anniversary as we recognize the U.S. military heroes who have served our nation since its founding in 1776.

The celebration also sets sail with Disney Cruise Line, where guests on select Fourth of July weekend sailings can commemorate America’s 250th anniversary with star-spangled offerings at sea.
From a stirring performance of the national anthem by main stage performers to a high-energy character dance party, themed food and beverage, special patriotic Magic Shots from shipboard photographers, and a festive towel animal at turndown, there will be memorable ways for families to celebrate throughout their voyage. On select itineraries where available, the celebration will also light up the night with fireworks at sea.
Also, in honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States, Disney Cruise Line proudly recognizes US military personnel with an exclusive $250 onboard credit per reservation on select Disney Wish and Disney Dream sailings throughout 2026.

And the celebration doesn’t stop there. Guests and fans can also look forward to special programming across Disney owned broadcast platforms honoring America’s 250th anniversary
Beginning the evening of July 3 and continuing through July 4, ABC Entertainment, ABC News, ESPN, and National Geographic will present an unparalleled 24-hour, cross-platform broadcast spanning ABC, Disney+, Hulu, National Geographic, FX, Freeform, ABC News Live, ESPN, and ABC Owned Television Stations and affiliates. Good Morning America will also broadcast live from the Disney Wonder in Alaska from June 30-July 4, showcasing the beauty of Alaska and how families can experience the region with Disney Cruise Line.

Now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu, “Disney Celebrates America: The Pursuit of Happiness” is a two-hour primetime special hosted by “20/20” co-anchor Deborah Roberts from Walt Disney World Resort and ABC News national correspondent Will Reeve from Disneyland.
