Mayor Winddancer Added to Zootopia: Better Zoogether at Animal Kingdom
While specific details about this new information are limited, Disney recently revealed that Mayor Brian Winddancer, voiced by actor Patrick Warburton, is now part of a new pre-show sequence at the new attraction.
This update was announced in a video featuring Imagineers, less than a year after the show first opened its doors. The addition was part of Imagineering’s effort to strengthen the attraction’s connection to the sequel. After the show’s debut in November 2025.
By hosting the new major of Zootopia 2 character, Imagineering aimed to deepen the sequel’s presence in the park while setting up the Zoogether Day celebration before the main 4D presentation.
Mayor Winddancer is described as one of the new characters from ‘Zootopia 2,’ an actor-turned-politician known for his Fabio-inspired mane. In this fresh scene, he delivers a speech welcoming visitors to the special ‘Zoogether Day’ celebration.
