Scat Cat’s Club and Cafe Closing for Refurbishment at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter
Two big changes are underway at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter, and we are somewhat surprised.
- Scat Cat’s Club – Café and Lounge at Port Orleans French Quarter close for refurbishment October 6, 2026. The café reopens in December, the lounge in January 2027.
- Scat Cat’s Club – Café and Scat Cat’s Club – Lounge at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will close for refurbishment starting October 6, 2026.
If you have a stay planned at Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter during this window, plan on using these alternate spots for your coffee and beignet fix as for me and family we will defiantly work on an alternative.
Some key details to know
The management expects the café to reopen in December. We anticipate the lounge will reopen in January 2027.
While the café and lounge are closed, you’ll have a few options:
- A temporary bar will operate near the café from 5pm to 11pm.
- Beignets and coffee will move to Sassagoula Floatworks & Food Factory. Ghoulish Delight beignets will also be available there through Nov. 1.
