Fall Bucket List of Activities to Try While Camping
We here at La Plante Mountaineers love to do new and exciting things while camping in our popup camper, we also love sharing them with you. As a family, we enjoy creating memories together and if it happens to be free or on a budget, we are all for it. Every year we create goals and ‘Bucket Lists’ for our current lives, and our adventures, and just because we are bored with our daily lives, we thrive on something new when we go camping. There are so many different things you can do with the kids in the fall while camping, it is just unlimited.
In this post, I have the perfect Fall Bucket List for you and your family. These ideas are fun and keep everyone entertain and off those devices. At the end be sure to grab the ‘FREE Printable’ for our Fall Bucket List and be on the lookout for our other seasonal and adventurous Bucket Lists, as well.
Fall
Fall, awe, that time of the year where it’s not freezing but also not scorching hot outside. The perfect weather in my book, but if you live in Kansas Fall comes twice a year. In Kansas, we have that 3-to-4-week period of, “oh, this is just the perfect weather.” To never mind summers back and you’re dealing with 100 degrees temperatures in 80% humidity followed but 1 to 2 months of perfect fall-like weather again before winter hits. Does that sound like your state? Lol, Kansas is a crazy state to leave in.
When Fall is in, it’s the perfect time to camp, hike, bike, and do all those wonderful activities we long to do in the summertime but it is just bloody hot to do! For me Fall is that time to relax, the kids have started school, Football is in full effect, and we are getting in our last bit of time off for camping.
For us, a fall bucket list is a great way for families to have a little purposeful fun and togetherness and what better way to do that is by camping. Depending on your location and the time of year you travel, fall can bring many various types of weather from hot and steamy temperatures to cold and rainy days.
This bucket list is created for you and your family to do inside and outside the camper. In Addition, many of these suggestions will provide you and your family with plenty of fun and entertainment no matter where you camp at. Enjoy!
