Disney Updates for Tropical Storm Nicole to Hurricane Status
With Tropical Storm Nicole upgrading faster than many thought, Florida has sounded the alarm for many counties cities including Orlando and Kissimmee to buckle down the hatches. Disney is giving us updates and as went into full hurricane mode closing the normal facilities and tightening up room reservations allowances.
Currently, a few resort areas and experiences will be closed. These include the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, Copper Creek Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, and the Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. These will all be closed tomorrow, November 9th, through Friday, November 11th.

Walt Disney World Water Parks and Miniature Golf locations are temporarily closed on Thursday, November 10:
- Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park (Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is currently closed for the season.)
- Winter Summerland Miniature Golf
- Fantasia Gardens
- Fairways Miniature Golf
Disney Springs
Disney Springs is currently operating under normal conditions.
