Official Closing Date for Splash Mountain at Walt Disney World Announced
Disney announced that Splash Mountain will close January 23, 2023, for the retheming and highly anticipated ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Disney has talked about doing a retheming to this controversial ride for years but in 2022 Disney announced the who, what, where and now the when.
WE love the current ride and are kind of sad we would get to ride it one more time before it shuts down. Our bi-annual trip is in April so we will have to share and hold on to those memories till it reopens in late 2024.
