Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Reopening Information

We heard from Disney World that Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Reopening date would be March 21 last month, but we also have more news on top of that. Typhoon Lagoon is reopening with extended hours as well after a temporary refurbishment that began back in November 2022. Though scheduled to open March 19 but held back due to a cold front that came through Orlando.

With this announcement, guest can enjoy some extra time at the water park with some recently announced extended hours. Beginning March 21 through March 26, the park will stay open for an extra hour. These new posted hours are as stated 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This news come without fail the closing of another water park, Blizzard Beach. Which is closed for its annual refurbishment. No date set for when Blizzard Beach will open yet but will let you know.
