Disney World Shares More Details for Journey of Water Attraction Coming to EPCOT

Walt Disney World has updated the ‘Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana’ webpage with new details as well as an updated timeline for the grand opening. Though subtle at first slight you might have noticed that the opening date has been changed to late 2023. This is very different from the previously announced Fall 2023 opening earlier this year.

Another quite noticeable difference is the verbiage that describes the attraction. (Listed below) it now shows that there are two paths you can take for this self-guided outdoor trail. Disney explains, “Make a Splash… or Stay Dry! You can choose to get wet—or take the dry path instead—as you explore this whimsical, watery world.”

In an email, Disney shared a new look at the logo for the attraction as well as an image from the attraction featuring the Te Fiti figure and what you may see on the attraction.
