Pictures to Come!!!
Our Top 5 snacks at Walt Disney World
Our top 5 snack at Walt Disney World might surprise you! They are not the typical Dole Whip or Mickey Pretzel. Join me as I share our favorite snacks, current price and where they are located. These are in no particular order, and we typically buy them on every Disney Trip. Below are some honorable mentions that we had to fit in, because this list could get quite large.
1.
Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream Sandwich $6.99
First on our list is the giant Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream Sandwich at Dino Bite in DinoLand at Animal Kingdom. Be fair warned they can get supper messy but oh so good. My daughter Mariah and I used to share them when she was little, totally doable. But now that she is older, she can knock it off faster than I do!
Depending on the season or holiday, Dino Bite will sell a different flavor of ice cream cookie. Yum! Try the mint ice cream sandwich.
2.
Mr. Kamal’s Seasoned Fries $5.99
Second on our list is the Mr. Kamal’s Seasoned Fries in Asia at Animal Kingdom. Super crunchy and perfectly seasoned, these fries cannot be shared. Many of arguments have been made when doing so. These surprising fries get you past a slump before dinner. Try the 2 to 3 different types dipping sauces (if available) or eat alone your choice.
Prewarning!!! Don’t eat before you get on Expedition Everest Ride!!!
3.
The Cheeseburger, Pizza or Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls $9.50
Third on our list of snacks can vary from flavors and days available. The Spring Rolls at Adventureland in Magic Kingdom can defiantly be a snack or a meal. In past times the options have varied from Cheeseburger, Pizza or Buffalo Chicken flavors rolls hot, fresh, and ready to devour!!! Watch your wallets as these guys have gone up a whooping $2 this past year and fan favorites aren’t happy. Watch for the cart just outside of adventure land. It is not always stationed there or opened every day and when they are gone, they are gone.
Side note: When we went this past time, they only had 2 flavors (Cheeseburger or Pizza) and you could still mix or match.
4.
Night Blossom Non-Alcoholic Specialty Beverage $5.99
Fourth on our list is considered a beverage and the only one on this list is the sweet and tangy Night Blossom drink at Satu’li Canteen, in Pandora (Animal Kingdom.) The Night Blossom drink is a frozen, layered drink with boba balls on top and can come in an alcoholic version called Rum Blossom. Disney defines it as: “layers of Apple and Desert Pear Limeade topped with Passion Fruit Boba Balls.”
5.
The Colossal Cinnamon Roll $7.49
Fifth on our list is one of our favorite breakfast items at Disney and it is totally shareable and paired great with fruit. The colossal cinnamon roll can be found in two Disney theme parks, one at Kusafiri Coffee Shop Bakery or at Creature Comforts in Animal Kingdom and the other at the Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom. We prefer this one over the other cinnamon roll at Gaston’s Tavern. This one is so flaky and large enough to split amongst two people.
6.
Full Baguette $3.50
Yes, a baguette! My sixth and finally one is not only inexpensive but made fresh daily. The fresh from the oven baguette is from Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie in the France Pavilionat Epcot. I could name off many other desserts that are amazing here but this one pair with some complimentary French butter and jam is phenomenal! My daughter Mariah and I use to split this when she was younger, but now we each get our own. Our love for this fresh baguette goes way past our French heritage. This doesn’t hurt the wallet either. We literally walk around Epcot with our loaf of bread at hand. If a whole baguette is too much try the half size and for only $2.25 but trust me the large size worth it. Bonus you burn those carbs walking around the lake at Epcot.
Some Honorable Mentions:
- Original Chocolate Chip Cookie at Gideon’s Bakehouse for $6.00
- Canadian Poutine at The Daily Poutine for $9.49
- Raspberry Swirl Cup DOLE Whip® at Aloha Isle for $4.99
- Maple Double Bacon donut at Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew for $5.50
To sum it up, these are our top 6 favorite snacks at Walt Disney World. Yes, we love most of Disney snacks including the Dole Whip Pineapple Float and enough those fresh Macarons, but we can’t stop enjoying these delights every time we visit. Have you tried them yet?
