A guide to what I pack in my duffle bag and hiking bag
First and foremost, it is always good to have a first aid kit with you. I personally am a Clutts and well my poor daughter got passed down my genes. I trip on air and have poor ankles. So, knowing my type I bring back up.
Personally, I bring 2 bags of first aid on our trips. One larger one with stocked supplies, which I carry with my luggage, and then a smaller one for our theme park bag. Each bag is carefully organized, and I don’t bring things I don’t need. the big bag takes up a small travel bag approximately 6”x8” and the smaller bag for the theme parks is a plastic Ziplock bag, that way it doesn’t get wet hiking trips.
It doesn’t fail someone always gets hurt either skids their knee, gets a fishing hook on the hand, or gets a tick on them. It is always good to have a place in your camper where everyone knows where to go to grab it and run. For us, it is in a large gray plastic pull-out drawer marked First Aid.
I don’t use certain brands, but I do love Melaleuca products and have a first aid kit that I have constantly supplied. Once I do find items on sale I buy them. In saying that I don’t buy extra items of bug spray or sunburn spray since they expire quicker than I use them.
