A New Feature for My Disney Experience App
Disney has released a new feature for My Disney Experience app called Mobile Order Photo Galleries. The new feature exhibits food photos and their dining room shots from a Mobile Order-eligible dining location. It is offered by an Instagram Stories-style presentation. We think this feature will be very useful for many people in that it shows guests what each restaurant offers and its seating options.
The food options look outstanding and allow you to see what you are ordering. The app also allows you to see photos of the restaurant floor plan, this can help with families that are preplanning with their children’s needs or for larger groups.
Order and Prepay Using My Disney Experience App
First, select the “+” on the bottom center of your screen, and choose “Order Food.” Then, you will be able to pick an available mobile order location, set your arrival time and choose the items you wish to order. You can even customize certain menu items to your taste. After you’ve reviewed your selections, you will be able to pay for your order using a credit card, debit card, Disney Gift Card, Disney Rewards Redemption Card, Apple Pay or Disney dining plan. Before you decide you can choose to pick on the blue circle to see the pictorials of each menu item.
To get to the galleries, all you need to do is get into the My Disney Experience app, go to Order Food. There you will see the restaurants, tap the blue rings around the restaurant photos that have them and then you will get the slide show.
The galleries are not comprehensive and only include four to five photos. About two of the photos show what the inside of the restaurants look like.
Here’s a look at how it works from Blog Mickey
When selecting the mobile order option from the My Disney Experience app main screen, a quick pop-up shows you what to expect. Essentially, you click on a Mobile Order-eligible location that has a blue ring surrounding the dining location “profile picture” and then a slideshow of some of the most popular options will play in an Instagram Stories-style presentation.
