Chef Mickey’s Returns to His Buffet!!!
We are so excited that Chef Mickey is back and has a new character experience for you at the once popular Chef Mickey’s restaurant located in Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Disney states, “Prepare for a Character-filled, all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast or dinner buffet at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.”
Yes, you read that right, Chef Mickey’s is back to buffet style and out is the family style dining. We has a family didn’t like the family style meals and preferred to eat what we wanted off a buffet.
We hear that the autograph souvenir postcard is also back and the classic photo with Mickey himself has returned as well!!! We sure love the breakfast buffet over dinner, what do you think?

Chef Mickey’s Buffet — Character Dining
Experience Character Dining and a delicious buffet meal in a bright, happy space. As the monorail whizzes by, soak up the expansive views of Bay Lake and behold the stunning 90-foot-high mural by Disney Legend Mary Blair that overlooks the festive eatery. Each table will receive a special, autographed card keepsake from Mickey and his friends. Throughout the dining experience, Mickey Mouse and some favorite pals will make surprise appearances in each of the dining rooms. See them move throughout the restaurant, waving hello as rollicking music fills the air.
