Cirque du Soleil is Back! So exciting! The new show and collaboration called ‘Drawn to Life,’ finally made its grand opening debut Nov. 18th at Disney Springs. The approximately 90-minute show, without an intermission, times still currently stand to be one performance a night and starting at 5:30pm ranging from Tuesday to Saturday. Starting December 10, shows will also be performed at 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays through Saturdays.
Cirque du Soleil describes the show as a “love letter to the art of Disney Animation [that] celebrates life in all of its motions and emotions.” Uniting the unique and talents gifts of the Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering, the new show tells the story of a girl named Julie.
Julie’s story…
Drawn to Life is a live acrobatic journey telling the story of Julie, a determined girl who discovers an unexpected gift left by her Disney animator father: an unfinished animation. As she dives into the inner world of animation guided by a surprising pencil, Julie embarks on an inspiring quest filled with her childhood Disney memories.
