Sailing from San Juan to the Caribbean

Guests embarking on a Disney cruise traveling to the Caribbean from San Juan will fly in to Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU). The ship departs from the Port of San Juan. Travel time from the airport to the port is 20 minutes, depending on traffic.

Guests embarking on a Disney cruise to Europe from Southampton will fly in to London Heathrow International Airport (LHR) or London Gatwick International Airport (LGW). The ship departs from the Port of Southampton. Travel time from London Heathrow International Airport to the port is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes, depending on traffic; from London Gatwick International Airport to the port is 1 hour 45 minutes, depending on traffic.

The Hilton London Gatwick Hotel is linked to the London Gatwick Airport via a covered walkway. If you’ve booked a stay in this hotel and are in the South Terminal, follow the signs to Hilton London Gatwick Airport (approximately a 3-minute walk). If you’ve booked a stay in this hotel and are in the North Terminal, take the free transit to the South Terminal (approximately 3 minutes), then follow signs to Hilton London Gatwick Airport (approximately a 4-minute walk).

The Sofitel London Heathrow Hotel has direct access to London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 via a covered walkway. Terminals 2, 3 and 4 offer a courtesy connection to Terminal 5 via the Heathrow Express rail.

Sailing from Sydney, Australia

Guests embarking on a Disney cruise from Sydney will fly in to Sydney Airport (SYD). The ship departs from Sydney Harbour. Travel time from the airport to the port is 25 minutes, depending on traffic.

Guests sailing on the October 3, 2024 sailing from Honolulu to Sydney and the February 16, 2024 and February 10, 2025, sailings from Sydney to Honolulu may add air travel, ground transportation or a hotel stay by calling (800) 951-3532. Guests younger than age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call.

Disney Cruise Line does not offer air travel, ground transportation or hotel accommodations for any other sailings to or from Sydney.

Airport Transfers

Ground transfers between Sydney Airport and Sydney Harbour are available for purchase on embarkation day of the February 16, 2024, sailing only, for $31 per Guest. (See “Sailing from Hawai’i” for information regarding sailings from Hawai’i to Sydney.)

For the Sydney to Honolulu sailing on February 16, 2024, ground transfers from the Port of Honolulu to the Honolulu International Airport are available for purchase for $50 per Guest.

Upon arrival at Sydney Airport, proceed through Immigration and baggage claim to pick up your luggage. Then proceed to your designated transportation. Several types of transportation may be available at the airport and costs may vary depending on provider.

Guests embarking on a Disney cruise to Alaska, Hawai’i or the Pacific Coast from Vancouver will fly in to Vancouver International Airport (YVR). The ship departs from the Canada Place Cruise Terminal. Travel time from the airport to the terminal is 45 minutes, depending on traffic.

Guests arriving in Vancouver from the United States and international destinations will proceed through the Canadian Border Services Agency Immigration inspection before heading to baggage claim. Claim your luggage and exit baggage claim via Customs, where you will turn in your Customs Declaration Form. A Disney Cruise Line representative will be waiting for you outside of Customs—or if you are arriving domestically, near baggage claim. Transportation may include a motorcoach, minibus or taxi, depending on arrival time and party size.

When arriving in Canada, you’ll go through Canadian Customs; when departing Canada for the United States, you’ll go through United States Customs. Please plan your travel time accordingly.

If you have booked a hotel stay before your cruise you will receive additional information about transportation to the Canada Place Cruise Terminal when checking in.

The Fairmont Vancouver Airport is located within the airport. If you booked a stay at this hotel and are coming from the Domestic Arrivals area, start at the luggage carousel and head north to the escalators. Take the escalators up one level to Domestic Departures and turn right at the top. Follow the signs to the International Terminal Departures, walking past the food court until you reach the end of the check-in counters. Access to the hotel is on the right-hand side via the stairs, escalator or elevator. The hotel is recognizable by the glass walkway above with the crystal chandelier.

If you booked a stay at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport and are coming from the International Arrivals area, take the elevator up to the Departures Level on the third floor. Turn right out of the elevator and walk past the Starbucks coffee shop to the USA baggage claim in the USA departure hall. Access to the hotel is on the right-hand side via the stairs, escalator or elevator. The hotel is recognizable by the glass walkway above with the crystal chandelier.
