Disney Water Park Announcement
Disney has officially confirmed that both of its water parks will be open during summer 2026. Between May 26th and September 8th, Disney World hotel guests will receive free admission to a Walt Disney World water park on their check-in day.
What makes this announcement even better is that both Disney water parks will be open during this time. That means your vacation can start with either water park and you are able to choose between the tropical paradise of Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, or the chill out of Disney’s Blizzard Beach.
Currently Disney states:
- Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is currently unavailable but will reopen on February 15, 2026. During this time, we encourage you to visit Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park.
Beginning February 15, 2026, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park will be temporarily unavailable.
