Disney World Confirms Mandatory Locker System for TRON Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom
With more and more information coming out for the new TRON Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom, we get more news coming from Disney and the logistic if it. Disney World has confirmed that “all loose articles must be stored in the lockers or left with a non-rider” in order to ride Tron.
So far, this is the first application of a locker system for any of the Disney World rides. Though there is a voluntary locker system at Kali River Rapids it is not mandatory, but more for keeping things dry. Disney as always allowed guests to store their items in a predesigned pouch or at their feet. This loose article rule will be implemented strictly like Space Mountain.
Though details about the locker system haven’t been announced yet, we expect more news as Disney starts it grand opening in spring of 2023.
Some questions we have now are….
- Are the lockers free?
- How big are the lockers? (For bigger backpacks)
- How many will be able to use if they are small?
- Are they locked?
- Or are they more like a cubby system, open doored?
- What about theft?
- Will they be monitored?
And so…….
