
Disney’s Announces Old Key West Resort Pool Closure for Refurbishment Continues
Guests stay at Disney’s Old Key West Resort were given noticed that the leisure pool in Miller’s Road at Disney’s Old Key West Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. It was closed September 29 and is now expected to continue through late November 2025. Disney states:
“Beginning September 29, 2025, through late November, the leisure pool in Miller’s Road at Disney’s Old Key West Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. During this time, Guests may see or hear refurbishment work in the area. Guests are welcome to enjoy the Sandcastle Pool and both leisure pools located in Old Turtle Pond and South Point.”


Disney advises that guests staying in the area may see or hear work as crews complete the maintenance project.
During the closure, you can still use three other pools across the resort:
- Sandcastle Pool – the main feature pool near the Hospitality House
- Old Turtle Pond Leisure Pool
- South Point Leisure Pool

The 149,000-gallon main pool is located near Hospitality House. You can also explore 3 all-ages quiet pools in the Old Turtle Pond, South Point and Miller’s Road sections—each with a whirlpool spa.
