Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park Rethemes and Reopens Soon
Disney announced that Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park would reopen on November 13th,2022 as well as a newly rethemed water park. ‘Frozen’, a 2013 Disney movie, will have set pieces scattered around the water park. Disney stated Frozen Fun details and new features from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film will be added to the water park.
Walt Disney World Resort has now confirmed that its other Water Park, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, will be closed starting November 13 for a refurbishment. We are thrilled to see this change and cannot wait to see more detail emerge from this refurbishment.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is open through November 12, 2022—and will be closed for refurbishment beginning November 13, 2022. Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is currently closed and will reopen on November 13, 2022.

At this time, a park reservation is not required to visit a water park; however, reservation requirements are subject to change.

- Tike’s Peak will also feature Anna and Elsa’s igloo castle
- Olaf and his Snowgie pals in the warm wading pool
- New Frozen-themed menu items
