Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort Reopens Following Hurricane Ian Closure
Subsequently after the closure of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort due to Hurricane Ian and more than a week after the hurricane first made land fall, Disney reopens Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds. Guests staying there were told to leave or reschedule their reservations for other resorts or different dates, due to the projected impact of Hurricane Ian and their safety. Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds had a small announcement posted on the Walt Disney World website of the reopening of Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds but with no further details submitted.
