Looking further into the future, according to the Disney World Resort’s website calendar, the Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain refurbishment has been lengthened 2 more weeks. Listed as under refurbishment through April 30, 2022, instead of mid-April. Previous closed for computer software updates. We noticed this on our last trip in April of 2021.
The timing could be a concern for those who travel to Disney during the May months like myself and appreciate this accelerating rollercoaster. This is also when Disney starts to pick up to higher volumes, as graduation parties raise, and schools are released for the summer. We will keep you notified if any more changes arise.
