Yes, it has finally happened with the news of the long waiting and anticipation of the reopening of the final resort, Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort at Disney World. Disney has confirmed that on March 31, 2022, All-Star Sports will be the last resort to open due to the closures of the dreadful COVID-19 in 2020. While other resorts have been opened for almost 2 years, following the initial closure.
This closure has been hard to swallow for many sports lovers and even those families looking to stay on a budget. This massive, 1,920 room sports themed resort usually is packed and had seen better days. With rumors of various renovations and kick back to open such a massive resort while COVID-19 is still lingering, Disney has decided to go ahead with the plans after a few delays.

Guests can start making reservations starting today, December 22, 2021. We are happy to see Disney is still moving forward with reopening fully in 2022.
