First Look at the Newly Reimagined Rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Early this year we reported that Disney would start refurbishments on some of the Pirate Rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. We were so saddened by this; these rooms were so cool and themed perfectly for us. On the other hand, the information reported to us was that the rooms were to be rethemed to the Little Mermaid movie. Which ok, we loved this idea but have already stayed in a Mermaid themed room at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (AOA). Would it be as cheesy as those rooms? Don’t get us wrong we love AOA but Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort needs a more grown-up setting, in my opinion.
Well, our questions have been answered. Today Disney gave us a sneak peek at the newly remodeled rooms and well we like it! They look spacious and stylish but most of all grown up. The pallet is beautiful and does remind you of being under the seas with Ariel. We did notice that these rooms look to sleep more than 4, unlike the pirate rooms before. Very nice for little bit larger families.
