Kali River Rapids Reopening after Refurbishment is Set in Mid-March 2023

Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be closed starting on January 9, 2023, for its annual refurbishment. This is usually done when crowds are low, and the temperatures are cooler. Disney as now released the reopening date set to March 17.

This fun but short water ride in Animal Kingdom is popular, and fun for many ages. In the past the ride has typically closed for the season, and in between the months January to the beginning of April. We surely hope it is open by mid-April for our trip.
