Kali River Rapids to Close for Annual Refurbishment Soon

Like all Disney World rides, annual refurbishment is not a bad thing, unless you’re planning on staying there when it happens. According to Disney World’s website, Kali River Rapids located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be closing for its expected annual refurbishment in January 2024.

Starting on January 8, the ride will close this time around but there is no expected opening date announced since this ride as a tendency to open quicker or extending their refurbishment to months. The official Walt Disney World website lists the attraction as closed through February 10, but that’s the furthest we can see on the calendar currently available. We will keep an eye out to when the opening date will be announced.
