Long before work even began on bringing Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point to life for Disney Cruise Line guests, the team here at Disney had conservation and sustainability top of mind.
From the sustainable design of the open-trestle pier, which helps minimize impacts on coral reefs, to innovative wildlife conservation initiatives driven by a team of Bahamian wildlife experts, Disney’s long-standing commitment to protecting the natural beauty of The Bahamas continues at this new island destination. In fact, the Disney Conservation Fund has provided more than 80 grants to nonprofit organizations working with communities in The Bahamas to protect nature over the past 30 years.
At the core of Disney Lookout Cay is the idea that nature and storytelling go together to create an incredible experience for guests.
