My Disney Experience App Update

Disney has an update on their My Disney Experience app on Updated on March 30, 2023, and we wonder if your app was automatically updated. Many noticed theirs were not. So click your app info button to update and see some of the new changes.

Changes?!?!

• So far, the biggest change has been the app’s logo. If you can recall Disney had an “EARidescent” castle and the 50th logo representing 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World. Now the logo has changed to a minimal blue-and-white castle with Mickey’s iconic ears behind it.
• The welcome page of the app has been modified as well, currently featuring a blue back screen with Cinderella Castle outlined. The home screen contains colorful balloons representing the four parks. No more iridescent colors, which we loved and will miss!
• Tip Board can also tell you if you are eligible to:
  • Move between Walt Disney World Resort theme Parks the same day.
  • Choose a Lightning Lane arrival window for “select” attractions.
  • Make individual lightning Lane purchases.
