planDisney Presents: A Guide to Attractions with Little Ones at Walt Disney World Resort
Disney Parks blog announced another video highlighting a guide to help with little ones on Disney World attractions called planDisney: A Guide to Attractions with Little Ones at Walt Disney World Resort. Read below for a quick rundown and view their YouTube video here!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aOgIPAua9Q&t=73s
Magic Kingdom Park
While there are numerous attractions your little one will enjoy at Magic Kingdom Park, one of LeAndra’s favorite areas is Storybook Circus in Fantasyland. The beloved Dumbo the Flying Elephant can be found in this area, and little ones will enjoy getting the wiggles out in the play area before they even board the attraction.
Home to the most attractions with no height requirements, Magic Kingdom Park offers your family the chance to enjoy rides with everyone in your family. A few of these include Pirates of the Caribbean, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and “it’s a small world.” For those tall enough and ready for a bit of thrill, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is also the perfect attraction to make your little one feel as if they too are riding the “big kid” rides.
EPCOT
At EPCOT, parents of little ones will not only find amazing attractions for their preschoolers … did someone say Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure … but also numerous activities to keep them busy for hours on end. Leslie’s son, and the entire family, love Disney’s DuckTales World Showcase Adventure. The quest begins when you download the playDisney Parks mobile app on your smartphone – then it’s time to jet off on your own adventure.
Speaking of adventure, be sure your little one participates in Kidcot Fun Stops. By participating, they can collect activity cards at each country throughout the World Showcase. The take-home memento includes facts and activities spotlighting the traditions of each country.
Little ones will also not want to miss such attractions as The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Turtle Talk with Crush, and Frozen Ever After.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The adventure awaits at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with many attractions for little ones, including a chance for some amazing fun in Toy Story Land. The entire family can enjoy Toy Story Mania, and when your little ones are ready for their first coaster, Slinky Dog Dash is ready to spring into action! For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration offers the family a chance to relax, cool off, sing your heart out with Elsa, and laugh at the flurry of stories told by the Arendelle Storytellers.
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Disney Junior Play and Dance, Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage as well as many character meet and greets will have your little one wanting more time at this theme park!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Kids of all ages love animals, and there is no better way to enjoy them than taking an outdoor adventure on Kilimanjaro Safaris. LeAndra always recommends checking the animals out early in the morning as they tend to be more active before the sun rises at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. After a journey through the savanna, your little one might be ready to brave the waters of Kali River Rapids. Grab that poncho as you just might get a little wet on this whitewater adventure!
Other great attractions, activities and shows for little ones include Na’vi River Journey in Pandora – The World of Avatar, TriceraTop Spin, The Festival of the Lion King, Rafiki’s Planet Watch, and Wilderness Explorers.
And don’t forget the Water Parks – the perfect place to splash around on a warm summer day!
