Prices Raised Throughout Disney World
It is understandable to see the prices raised all over these days, with the government stating, “we are not in a recession,” we still feel the heat everywhere we turn. Disney has raised their prices on almost everything all Walt Disney world Resort and Disneyland this passed week and more popped up today.
Let’s take a quick recap on all the prices that hit your wallet and budget while you plan a vacation or visit this week.
- Parking! Disney just raised parking at all locations, from theme parks to parking garages! Standard parking (car or motorcycle): $30 per day (was $25). Preferred parking (car or motorcycle): $45, $50, or $55 per day (was $45 to $50) *pricing is seasonal and varies by date. Oversized vehicle parking (Shuttle, Limo, Camper Trailer, RV, Bus, or Tractor Trailer): $35 per day (was $30)
- Genie+ just had the highest price of the year this past week with a whopping $29 and will see more as the busiest part of the year approaches. The price will now start at $30 per day. Previously the price started at $25 and varied with the volume of the theme park.
- Dining! Whether you are dining in or ordering quick service, all if not most have raised their prices from $0.25 to $2.50 in some locations. Wallet busting!
- Snacks! The most popular Disney snacks have risen from $0.25 to $1.50. Snacks like the mickey bar, pretzels and even soda of jumped up! Better plan to spend a little extra in this category.
- Hotel prices and accommodations have also gone up this week, though you can still get some hotels for a descent price if you look hard enough. It’s best to stick with the value or moderate resorts this coming season and next year to stay on budget.
- Memory Maker packages have gone up to $6 and $16 more! Advance purchase (buying Memory Maker before your trip begins): $185 — was previously $169. Regular price (buying Memory Maker during or after your trip): $210 — was previously $199. One day (buying Memory Maker for one day only): $75 — was $69.
- Disney World Annual Passes have also gone into hyper price, I mean speed. The new prices for Disney World Annual Passes are:
- Incredi-Pass: $1449 (was $1399)
- Sorcerer Pass: $999 (was $969)
- Pirate Pass: $799 (was $749)
- Pixie Dust Pass: $439 (was $399)
