Vanellope Meet & Greet Permanently Closed at EPCOT
With great sadness we tell you that Vanellope von Schweetz’s meet and greets are now permanently closed! BUT to make way for the construction of a new Figment meet and greet space! Yes, my daughter is upset but she sure loves Figment. Disney announced that Figment’s ‘meet and greet’ would open later this summer in the same location at ImageWorks.
Vanellope was part of the ImageWorks post-show area for the Journey into Imagination with Figment attraction. Originally, Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope jointly shared the area for special meet and greets back when it opened in 2019.
We do hope we can see them both again when a more permanent Mickey & Friends meet and greet location eventual opens at CommuniCore Hall, but we don’t know the opening date nor which character will be in there. Stay tune for more information on this and all things Disney World.
