My first trip there as an adult was mortifying. I though I could handle the airplane ride and the attraction rides, but I was wrong. To top it off I had a little girl with me, and she could feel what I was feeling, which was lousy. I got the dreaded motion sickness all of its glory from dizziness, headaches and nausea. Boy that first day was horrible and to top it off we started a Magic Kingdom, our favorite!!! I didn’t understand why I was so sick. So, I stopped by the First Aid Center, and they quickly sprang into action to helped me. From preoccupying my daughter, a private nurse who assisted me in a bag to throw up in, water and finally after an exam a fast-acting motion sickness tablet. Literally within 30 minutes I was feeling much better. They even gave me a vacations work of motion sickness medication, which was 14 days’ worth. How awesome was that!!! I was so relieved and felt foolish and unprepared. The nurse was fantastic and said some flights and rides can do that to people and the older we get it could start or get worse. For that day on I use motion sickness medicines all the time at Walt Disney World.
I have to say Disney was pretty awesome too! Helping me out with my daughter and she even got to see Mickey and Minnie as they walked by. Totally worth it, not. LOL! Motion sickness is no joke, and if you’ve had it you would know! Let’s look at some information about Disney’s First Aid and where to find them in each park. First Aid Centers are located at all 4 theme parks and both water parks at Walt Disney World Resort.
