Boat Transportation Restarts at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Boat transportation to and from Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has resumed after a refurbishment of the resort’s dock. The dock was fully closed from April 13 through May 1, 2026. Disney states that the dock is undergoing routine maintenance from April 13 through late July 2026.
This means that if you plan to travel by boat from Wilderness Lodge to Magic Kingdom or to Fort Wilderness/Contemporary Resort, you can expect service to restart once the work is finished

All Aboard!
Turn your travel into a treat on our fleet of boats that’s an attraction in itself. Take in the scenery and relax with welcome breezes as you sail around Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. Feel the wind in your hair and the magic in the air as you cruise Crescent Lake and Lake Hollywood. Water taxis and ferries sail to and from Magic Kingdom park. Most routes run on 15- to 30-minute intervals.
Key points for guests:
- Red flag boats go to Magic Kingdom, running about 30 minutes before park opening to 1.5 hours after closing
- Blue flag boats go to Fort Wilderness and Contemporary Resort, running from 6:45 AM to 11:30 PM
- Always check the dock for signs and line up for the correct boat before boarding.
- If you’re traveling during the refurbishment window, plan to use Disney buses or other transportation until the dock is reopened.
