Disney + shares New Stream Episodes of ‘Behind the Attraction’ Season 3
Season 3 of ‘Behind the Attraction’ is now streaming on Disney+. Original Series #BehindTheAttraction returns for its third season with a two-episode special focused on Disney Cruise Line. Explore the origin story of the Disney Cruise Line fleet and how the concept evolved from its 1998 launch through its signature service. Then dive deep into the making of the Disney Destiny cruise ship, alongside the fleet’s island destinations and the lore behind ships inspired by Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars stories.
Now streaming on Disney+, set sail on a brand-new adventure as Season 3 of Behind the Attraction charts a bold course into the world of Disney Cruise Line. In this special two-episode event, the series turns its focus to the storytelling, innovation, and immersive experiences that have helped redefine vacations at sea.

The journey begins with the story of Disney Cruise Line itself. From its earliest sailings to its continued expansion, the first episode explores how Disney reimagined the classic ocean-liner experience through signature service, attention to detail, and storytelling woven into every aspect of the voyage. Listen to those who were there from the beginning like Former Imagineer and Disney Legend Wing Chao, who led the design of Disney Cruise Line’s first two ships, the Disney Magicand Disney Wonder. Dive into the engineering marvel of how Disney cruise ships are built from the ground up!
The story then turns toward the future with a dedicated episode on the Disney Destiny, the latest chapter in Disney Cruise Line’s evolution. Inspired by the timeless dynamic between heroes and villains, the Disney Destiny introduces a new thematic direction—one where design and adventure come together in entirely new ways. From early concepts and Imagineering innovation to the creation of unforgettable guest experiences, the episode reveals how this ship was brought to life.
